About AGVic
Founded in 2010, AGVic was created to bridge the gap between unskilled workers, Vocational High School students and meaningful employment. We have operated across multiple states in Australia and, to date, have trained over 1,000 students.
Partnering with Australian Government High Schools and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), we deliver nationally recognised qualifications and ensure students gain both the educational and practical skills needed for success. Over the years, we’ve worked with social enterprises to support food distribution and fresh produce handling, and with local councils to create and maintain community gardens for the public.
Our dedication to quality and community impact has seen AGVic win Employer of the Year with Hume City Council and be featured in multiple news articles highlighting the positive change our programs have created.
Whether in horticulture today or other skills shortage areas tomorrow, AGVic is committed to delivering Training that travels.
Industry Focus
At AGVic, we focus on industries that matter most to the economy and communities — areas where skilled workers are in demand and opportunities are growing.
Right now, our core strength is horticulture, delivering Australian Certificate III–level training that blends classroom learning with real-world, hands-on experience. This ensures graduates are job-ready, confident, and equipped with skills that meet Australian standards.
But we’re not stopping there. We’re exploring pathways into other key skills shortage sectors — from transport and logistics to mechanical trades – always working with trusted partners to ensure training is practical, relevant, and globally recognised.
Wherever the demand for skilled workers is greatest, AGVic aims to be there — delivering skills that matter and training that travels.
